Yoga
The purpose of Yoga is to align the body mind and spirit.
The word “yoga” comes from the Sanskirt word yuj, meaning
union. Many people will benefit from the fundamentals of Yoga practice.
Not only beneficial for improved flexibility, yoga also helps people achieve
a meditative state. When the body achieves this meditative state it begins
the processes of self healing.
Using stretch and strengthen poses which can be performed in isometric
positions like in Hatha, or even in more athletic positions such as Ashtanga.
Yoga can be tailored for every person’s ability. After a few sessions
most people will notice measurable results in flexibility and strength.
Yoga is not meant to be a competitive practice but a life long journey
of connecting the mind, body, and spirit.
Here at Fusion Health Studio we offer small group classes or individual
sessions with certified Yoga instructor Sarah Harris.
