I began my healthcare career in 2006 by completing a Bachelor of Nursing at Ryerson University. While working as a nurse, it became clear to me that my interest is in rehabilitation. I now have a unique skillset combining nursing, osteopathy, medical acupuncture and functional neurology.

When I am not busy not helping people reclaim their body and brain, I am an avid runner and martial arts practitioner. I hold a Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and was the first Canadian to win a world title. I now hold 4 world titles and continue to compete for fun.

I am part of the Acquired Brain Injury Lab at the University of Toronto where my research focuses on womens reproductive health outcomes following concussion. This lab is the only one qorld wide with a focua on womens concussions. I recently wrote a chapter for the textbook Rehabilitation of Older Adults. I have also been published in a number of medical journals on the topics of rehabilitation and dementia.
